This fall, the Baker family is offering intimate wine tastings at Old Westminster Winery by appointment. The experience includes a guided tasting of currently released wines, a barrel sampling from a future vintage and a light, artisan food pairing. Tastings are led by a founding family member in the winery.
Private tastings cost $15 per guest and are offered Friday – Sunday. Reservations are necessary and can be made by emailing email@example.com or calling (410) 861-7900.
Note: the winery will re-open for public visitation in the spring.

Come, join The Baker Family’s celebration of Old Westminster’s much anticipated release of 2012 Blanc de Blancs sparkling Chardonnay, a crisp, elegant and effervescent wine perfect for the holiday season.
Old Westminster’s winemaker, Lisa, believes that OWW Blanc de Blancs can compete with the best of sparkling wines. True to sibling revelry, Drew and Ashli took up the challenge! They will each select a sparkling to be poured as part of the weekend’s celebration. You get to decide if Lisa is right!
The guided tasting of the three featured sparkling wines is $10 and can be paired with tapas-style charcuterie produced by Three Little Pigs Charcuterie [Washington, DC] and Evensongs Farm [Sharpsburg, MD] for purchase.
The light-hearted, savory event is scheduled for the weekend of Friday, December 6th through Sunday, December 8th.

Champagne Restaurant Release
Join us for the restaurant release of our 2012 Blanc de Blancs! This event is to take place at AIDA Bistro & Wine Bar in Columbia, Maryland on Friday, December 13th beginning at 6pm. This delightful evening will showcase Old Westminster Winery’s sparkling wine debut along with other global sparkling wines paired with hors d’oeuvres and a three course, gourmet feast. AIDA Bistro’s Chef Sean Riggs and Old Westminster’s winemaker, Lisa Baker, are meticulously dreaming, planning, and preparing a fabulous menu highlighting the versatility of sparkling wines. Intimate seating provides accommodation on a first come basis. The cost is $77 all inclusive. Reservations are made by calling AIDA Bistro at 410-953-0500.
